Therapy is a safe space to facilitate self-understanding, acceptance, and growth. I provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment to process and explore thoughts, behaviors, and patterns that are contributing to you feeling “stuck," in pain, or dissatisfied with current life circumstances. In therapy, we can reconnect with who you want to be and work in a valued direction. I utilize an integrative and collaborative therapeutic approach and as a result my style in therapy doesn't always fit into a neat box (but I will try)! First and foremost, I view unconditional positive regard and empathetic understanding as integral components of therapy. The foundations of my training come from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness based interventions. I have also been drawn to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Lastly, I am a Master Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T) Certified Practitioner.
